DORIDE
The Junior Suite Dorides is named after the Greek mythological figure Dorides, a nymph daughter of the titan Ocean and the titanid Thetis. Doride married Nereus, son of Pontus and Gaia, and together they begat the Nereids and their only son, Neritus, who became god of the waters.
This suite is one of Villa Clodia’s most beautiful rooms, featuring a frescoed ceiling that adds a touch of sophistication and history. The frescoes depict scenes of fishing, farming and animal husbandry, suggesting that this room was once a delightful dining room. Stepping out onto the balcony, thesuite also offers a glimpse of Lake Bracciano, creating an enchanting and relaxing environment for its guests.
Together these elements make the Junior Suite Doride a perfect retreat, where the charm of Greek mythology blends with modern comfort.
