CALLIOPE
The Calliope Classic Dependence is named after the Muse of epic poetry, daughter of Zeus and known as the inspirer of Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey. Calliope had two sons, Orpheus and Linus, whose father, according to various legends, was Apollo or the king of Thrace. She was the eldest and wisest of the Muses, renowned for her confidence and wisdom. She was also Dante’s inspirer in the Divine Comedy, invoked in the canto of Hell and the cantos of Purgatory.
This annex is part of the rooms outside the main body of the building and is identical to its twin, the “Galatea.” Ideal for small groups who wish to have an intimate stay, the Calliope Classic Dependence offers a quiet and comfortable environment. Nestled in the natural beauty of Villa Clodia, this
room is perfect for those seeking a refuge of inspiration and serenity, following in the footsteps of the muse who has influenced the minds of great poets through the centuries.
